Hi, I'm Guy Fischer.  I have been building and delivering custom homes to satisfied home owners on the Florida panhandle for over 20 years.

The homes we build have the 'Fischer Difference' which is the perfect combination of the architect and the contractor in each step of the custom home building process.  This experience and expertise enables us to inform you of the best options and make decisions which deliver the design, scale and proportion in the most cost effective manner.

Fischer Design Build Process

Initial Meeting

Whether you have already selected you home plan or you just have an idea of what you're looking for, we will answer all your questions, even the questions you don't know to ask.

Site Selection

If you don't  already have you own lot, we can assist you with lots we have available or even help you find a lot in the area.  Finding the right lot is a critical part of the building process because it is where the inspiration for your design begins. Following the site visit, we'll research set-backs, ESAs and review the CSM-plat.

Our client specification meeting is very detailed. Reviewing specific details early in the process helps to eliminate surprises and allows us to quote what our customers want to build. The home is then quoted based on the outlined specifications and reviewed with you. Together we make adjustments to the plan design and pricing to meet budget considerations. We also review the terms of our building contract.

With a signed contract, we'll establish a start date and complete a project schedule.  This comprehensive project schedule identifies each task and pending decision in the building process, the responsible party and the completion date. A final site meeting will take place to determine the location of the driveway and home, as well as the height of the home.

We'll be in constant contact throughout the building process. Our professionals will take a personal interest to ensure your house is completed to specification within the allotted time period and with strict attention to detail. You will know exactly what and when decisions need to be made, as well as what is happening at your home on any given day. We'll meet regularly to review the progress and you will get to know each of our team members as they work on your home.

When you new home is completed, we'll meet for a final walk-through is done and a punch list is made. Although the house is complete, our relationship will not end. We are always available to address any questions or problems that may arise with your new home. At the end of the journey, you will have a magnificent home where new memories can be made for years to come.
